• 9 OR MORE PAINT COLOURS: 
  Yellow, Red, Blue, Green, Orange, Pink, Purple, White, Black,
NOTE: Better quality paint usually results in better paintings. My go-to paint is Winsor Newton (I recommend this). However I often use Deco Art Acrylic Paint for classes because it’s more affordable and most students use that brand. 

• 6 OR MORE PAINT BRUSH: 
  Thick flat brush =  1in wide. 
  Medium flat brush = 1/3 inch wide. 
  Medium round, hard bristled brush. 
  1 Medium round, soft bristled brush. 
  Very small, thin rounded brush 

• 5 GOOD PAINT SURFACE: 
Hard canvases like a canvas board or wood boards. 
Paper will not work. 

• 6 PRACTICE PAINT SURFACES:
I use thin, smooth, sturdy cardboard from a cereal/cracker/cookie box or frozen food box. Paper will not work 

• PALATE: I use plastic lids 

• OLD WALLET CARD (like a used gift card)

• OLD RAG/CLOTH

• PALLATE KNIFE

• WATER CONTAINER

• PENCIL AND ERASER

• SCRAP PAPER

• TOOTHPICK

Learners may want to use a blow dryer if they are uncomfortable painting on a wet surface. If so, they may need assistance with this.
