このクラスで学べること
Korea has an interesting history and culture. Students will explore the history, geography, and culture of this Asian nation. This will then lead to a discussion of events that took place after World War 2, which have shaped the modern political divide between North Korea and South Korea. This is a great example of past actions shaping the current events unfolding around us. Students should just have a basic understanding of Korea to start. There will be no homework, but further optional reading may be suggested. *Note: This class is part of my World Geography and Cultures semester class. If you are looking for a more comprehensive option, I would suggest that you enroll in the semester class.
