Welcome to Mathletes—the perfect place for your learner to unlock their math potential! This summer, we’ll dive into 7th-grade math concepts such as integers, fractions, decimals, algebra, and more, building a strong math foundation.

In our supportive learning community, both homeschool and traditional learners will explore math together, fostering cooperation, respect, and friendship. With Nearpod's gamification, learning becomes an exciting adventure that sparks your child's passion for math! Your child will receive expert guidance from a certified educator, creating a dynamic, engaging classroom experience right at home.

📓 Inside Our Classroom 📓

Each week, we explore a new 7th-grade math topic, starting with warm-ups to review previous material and ensure a solid understanding. After a mini-lesson, we dive deep into the week’s topic, providing comprehensive instruction. Learners will then apply their knowledge using the "I do, we do, you do" approach, transitioning from guided practice to independent exercises. We end each session with a student-selected Gimkit game to reinforce multiplication facts and keep the learning fun!

Nearpod is a free, interactive learning platform that empowers your child to participate in class at their own pace. Whether they use digital tools or prefer paper and pencil, Nearpod allows students to showcase their work, ask questions, and receive personalized support in real time.

As an educator, I use Nearpod to share interactive slideshows, personalized math problems, and offer real-time feedback to ensure each student’s needs are met. It’s easy for your learner to access lessons—simply copy the class link or enter the code into the Nearpod app. If your learner prefers paper and pencil, they can still follow along with Zoom screen share.
