I've been teaching 6th grade math for 5 years and can help tutor or assist you finish your math assignments. I can help you practice or study for assessments or review 6th grade math before you begin 7th grade. Topics for review may include (but are not limited to): -Ratios and rates -Geometry (area, surface area, volume) -Operations with fractions and decimals -Equations and expressions I like to get to know learners first so they feel comfortable, so I ask learners a warm up question about themselves to begin with. Then, depending on the learner's needs we'll either jump into any assignments they need help with, or if they need more review with a topic, I will have prepared materials to do a mini-lesson on the topic. After this, practice problems will be done so the learner can independently practice the topic.

Hello! I am Mrs. Lingurariu (Mrs. L if it's easier!) I am a 6th grade math teacher with five years of experience teaching and tutoring math grades 5-8. I love teaching because every kid deserves an excited adult, I love celebrating my students every day! Math can seem difficult, but showing up willing to work and learn from your mistakes is half the battle!
I offer math tutoring and review classes that can be helpful before state tests or during time off school to retain all that wonderful math knowledge! When I'm not teaching, I love watching movies with my husband and kids, and when it's nice out, we love to walk around our neighborhood and go to the park.レビュー
