Each Lesson will consist of four parts; example, you do, practice, and exit ticket. Students are free to ask questions and for teacher support on the ‘you do’ and ‘practice’ portions of the lesson. Students will complete the exit ticket independently and will receive feedback from the teacher upon turning in their work. I have spent four years working as a volunteer mentor with 6th through 10th-grade students. While studying at University, I tutored fellow college students in statistics and psychology courses. I also have experience working in special education as a special education technician assisting in reading and math instruction. Through my year-long pre-service teacher education program, I taught 5th and 7th-grade students in mathematics.
