I will provide 5-10 example problems for homework after each class. This is voluntary and will be reviewed at the beginning of the next class. I will assess students in class based on their participation and homework (if they do their homework). Students will also have occasional quizzes. Students need to have taken 5th grade math or have been tested on a 6th grade level.
Students should have a math journal to keep their notes in and solve example problems. I would also like them to have a small marker board and/or some sheet protectors, along with some dry erase markers. This will be beneficial to class participation.
