Students will solve math problems relevant to their daily lives and learn foundational math concepts for grades 6-8 and 9th grade Algebra. These sessions can be review, or we can move to new concepts the student hasn't learned yet. Getting ahead with math is never a bad thing!

The learning experience will be tailored specifically to meet your child's needs and guarantee they are ready for math in grades 6-8 and 9th grade Algebra. In the first session I will gauge how well your child does with the concepts found in these classes, then we will work on demonstrating these skills through practice. Each session will involve a refresher section, instruction, then we'll practice the concepts together until your child masters the concept.

My teaching style is student-centric, I want every child to build confidence and the skills required to master math at any level. We'll move at whatever pace your child needs to ensure complete mastery before moving on to more advanced concepts. 

These sessions can focus on any of the following math concepts:
Percentages, Fractions, Multiplication, Division, 1 or 2-step Problems, Probabilities, and more! I have taught math in multiple settings ranging from 3rd Grade to 9th Grade Algebra, so whatever your child's math needs are I will be able to assist them.
