This course will look at World War II history on a weekly basis. Each week will cover various different military operations, developments, or battles that occurred during that week between 1939 and 1945. This class will look at significant events from both the Axis and Allied sides of the conflict. Students will learn new events in World War II history. Additionally, students will begin to obtain basic knowledge on how to complete independent research on historical events.
The instructor is employed at a World War II museum, and works to educate students of all ages about World War II in a manner that is appropriate for their age group.

Discussion of military battles, operations, and weaponry of World War II will be discussed in this course. Casualty numbers and other statistical data will be supplied to students as is relevant to the weekly topic. All information will be historically contextualized, and applicable to the weekly topic.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
