Students will learn the essential concepts in writing an essay while being fun and engaging. They will interact with the teacher via video and chat in addition to course materials being attached to the platform for reference. The class is structured to meet one time and will go over the specific needs within the writing process for each student. There will be an in-class activity tailored to the needs of each student in relation to the essay writing process. Some of the topics that will be discussed are brainstorming, outlining, writing and editing an essay. These are all essential concepts when writing an essay. This activity will work on improving their essay writing skills and make it easier to write. Each session will be tailored to the individual student to ensure learning needs are met. Learners will be engaged directly one on one with me to get a tailored experience with direct feedback. There is no required experience learners need. This is a one-time private class where learners can get the most out of how to write/edit an essay. Schedule For First Four Weeks: Week of November 22nd, 2021: Introduction to Persuasive Writing Week of November 29th, 2021: How to Write Introduction and Body Paragraphs Week of December 6th, 2021: How to Write Conclusion Paragraphs and Edit Week of November 13th, 2021: Sentence Structure and Timed Writing

Students will improve their understanding of the writing process, and will in turn become much more skilled writers. Students will learn brainstorming techniques such as mind mapping, how to create a template for their essays to carry out the actual writing of their content, and will learn how to effectively edit their papers by learning strategies for the editing phase.
