Students will learn how to trust themselves when presenting the thoughts and words of a character. Students will learn how to memorize material and present it to an audience with authentically, vulnerability, and technical excellence. Students will be encouraged and stretched to grow in a positive, safe environment.

Heidi is a working actor in NYC and is a member of the Actors Equity Association. She regularly trains and performs in the NYC area in paid stage and film opportunities.

Students will often be asked to work on memorization on their own, throughout the week. However, if students request to use their lesson time for memorization, the instructor is happy to accommodate.

Learned progress is assessed by both the teacher and the students. A few questions that may be asked for assessment may include:
1. Did the actor perform their assigned piece with honesty, vulnerability, and textual accuracy?
2. Did the actor feel more in touch with their body and their feelings as lessons progressed? 
3. Did the actor book performance opportunities from the prepared material?
4. Did the actor gain confidence and comfort in themselves?
