The beauty of home education is being able to create a curriculum that meets the needs and wants of the student. In this one-on-one class, the student will complete a quarter, semester, or year-long English/Literature curriculum carefully constructed specifically for the student.

Prior to the first lesson, the guardian and teacher will work together to choose books, essays, and other assignments for the student to cover that is age/grade appropriate. Guardians will receive a tentative schedule so they know what the student will be covering in class. A grade sheet through Google Sheets will be provided upon request. 

During class, we will focus on discussion of the text, examining non-fiction texts, covering new concepts, or working on assignments. Each week, students will be assigned homework. The amount of homework will be determined by the desires of the guardian. 

Students will receive in-depth feedback on all assignments.
