🌈 This is an ongoing, weekly class offering personalized, individual tuition in reading skills. These sessions would benefit those students who require additional support in developing their fluency, comprehension, and critical thinking skills. Students will also work on their understanding and knowledge of text and language features, and how to apply this knowledge to a variety of both fiction and non-fiction texts.

📘 We’ll use a range of wonderful digital books (both fiction and non-fiction) from Oxford Owl and Epic Books to help develop and cement students’ love for and confidence in reading. We will access all reading materials online through a shared screen during our sessions together. There is no need for students to supply any books or resources of their own. 


📗 Our sessions will be personalized to facilitate the attainment of students’ individual reading goals. Please let me know your child’s reading level before our first class together so that I can select materials to best support this. It would also be great if you let me know any particular areas of concern or development you would like us to address in class. Thank you :-).

📙 My teaching style supports a positive and supportive environment, where we can have fun through learning. We always learn best when relaxed and engaged, and I endeavor to facilitate classes that encourage this.
