Welcome Parents!

My private lessons are designed for ESL students who want to learn and enhance their English! I am a certified English teacher with classroom experience teaching 1st grade and 7th grade. I am a graduate of Texas A&M University with a minor in Foreign Language. I have my TEFL Certification and taught for VIPKID for 2 years earning over 500 5 Apple Reviews. 

Each lesson is 25 minutes and is hand tailored to your child and their needs. Before your child's first lesson I will message you asking for specific skills you would like to focus on and where your student is at in their fluency journey to maximize our time together. I will also provide helpful feedback and practical skills for them to work on in between lessons. 

Based on the age and needs of your child, I provide customized lesson material and content. An example of a beginner level lesson will have emphasis on learning vocabulary, phonics, and practicing conversation skills. 

An advanced lesson will look like having conversations and working on correcting pronunciation and word usage in real time. Conversation content will be based on age but can range from hobbies and interests, school, seasons, restaurants and food, shopping, traveling, animals, colors, numbers, occupations, and English skills for the real world. 

I am known for being patient, kind, and helping my students to have fun while learning! I am a mommy to two little girls and teach all of my students as if they were my own children. I encourage my students to keep their camera on to maximize our learning time together and to try their best to speak in English at all times. I also recommend they have a notebook dedicated to our lessons to write down words and their meaning as they learn. 

My regularly scheduled work hours are  Monday through Thursday, between the hours of 8pm Central Standard Time and 11pm Central Standard Time. Friday and Saturday Classes are extremely limited and are available upon request. If you do not see a time slot that accommodates your schedule, please message me! 

CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY: This is a one-on-one class, which means this time is specifically reserved for your child. As such, missed classes and last minute cancellations will not receive a refund. Outschool's Limited Refund Policy applies to this class.
