Hello, I’m Mrs.D. Welcome to my Outschool profile! I really appreciate you considering me to be your child’s teacher! 

I teach various art classes that involve color theories, color wheel, and color schemes that work together to create human figures, landscaping and canvas painting with easy to follow step-by-step instructions. I love to teach different styles and techniques of art using Art Theory.

I am an artist by profession. I have a bachelors degree in Fine Arts. I have participated in many art exhibitions in my public art center and library and I have taught art, crafts and card making in elementary schools and in girl scout as a volunteer. I love to share art with my community.

I have been teaching 1:1 art classes online and in person from last 5 years to ages 4 to 14 years.  I have instructed children online all around the world, and continue to teach local classes and workshops in my community. I am so happy to continue what I am doing on a bigger and better platform from the comfort of my home.

I like to teach Art Theory in most of my projects so kids will learn multiple things without even realizing it. I believe all students have the ability to learn, and art is the best way to express yourself and your feelings in your own unique way. 

Art helps to improve hand and eye coordination. It also helps to grow your concentration and patience. Sometimes young minds can't express themselves through talking, but through drawing. I love connecting with students through art and help them grow, laugh and have some fun! 

Class Expectation : Everyone works at different speeds. If the child is not finished with the piece by the end of class then they can finish the remaining picture at home and post it in the classroom.
