The classes are structured so that in each class, the learner will be focusing on a specific part of speech. For example, in our first meet, the learner will be learning about common and proper nouns. A thorough explanation will be provided and learners will follow slides that provide a visual so that the learner can make better connections to the lesson. There will be oral discussions and short in-class writing components where the learner will have to use vocabulary words and fill in the blanks. 

The same approach will be applied to the next part of speech. For instance, when we will be learning about verbs, learners will be provided with an explanation about what are verbs? How do we identify verbs in a sentence? Using verbs in sentences, and learning about past, present, and future tenses. 

The topics that will be covered are as follows: Nouns, Verbs, Adjectives, Adverbs, and Pronouns. 

Each class will be taught by providing an explanation and multiple examples. The learner will be encouraged to make their own connections and apply terminology based on part of speech that we are focusing on. 

My teaching style is very engaging and supportive. I ensure to always check-in with the student and ask questions throughout the lesson. If I see that the learner does not understand or has a hard time following along the lesson, I will repeat and explain as many times as needed. 

Since this is a 1-on-1 class, the learner will have the entire duration of the class to interact with me. Learners are always encouraged to ask questions and engage in a discussion applicable to the lesson.
