Mathletes was created in April 2021 as a supportive space where learners can take risks, try new things, and build math confidence. 🧠✨ We believe confidence grows through understanding, and we love seeing students explain the “why” behind their answers—leading to enriching discussions and moments of math magic! 🎉

To reach even more families, Tara expanded the program to include educators who share her commitment to making math engaging, accessible, and confidence-boosting. 💡

Each Mathletes teacher is a certified educator with math expertise and a passion for taking the fear out of math. Together, we create a positive, safe space where learners feel empowered to succeed. With their unique specialties, our team makes Mathletes truly amazing! 🌟

👩‍🏫 Tara Laczynski – Creator of Mathletes, certified teacher with 18 years of experience, specializing in gifted, neurodivergent, and ESL learners.

👨‍🏫 Zac Brown – Certified math teacher with 5 years of experience teaching elementary learners, including gifted students.

As Nearpod Certified Educators, we incorporate fun and interactive Nearpod elements into our classes. 🕹️ This gamified approach ensures students actively engage while practicing independently, making learning math exciting and memorable! 🎯
