This private tutoring class is taught by a Wilson Certified instructor who will provide your child one-on-one attention to improve their English language skills. Sessions are designed to close learning gaps, improve specific skills, and increase confidence. Sessions are customized for each child according to their needs. Learners should come as they are! Each session will involve word work, a writing element (if requested), and story time! Private tutoring offered in the following areas: * Writing (all ages and types) * Reading (all ages) * Phonics (all ages) * Language Arts (all ages) Learning goals will be discussed and customized before class via Outschool's messaging system in order to maximize the tutoring sessions. **If you do not see a time slot that works for your schedule, please reach out to me as I may have additional time slots available.**

We will focus on breaking down multisyllable words and vowel sounds. Fluency with these skills will also be practiced.

Welcome! I am a private tutor with over 10 years of teaching experience. I have a Bachelor's in Secondary Education and History, as well as a Master's in Reading, Writing, and Literacy. I also hold a Wilson Fundations Reading Program Certification.
I love to teach phonics, reading comprehension, novel studies, writing, and history!
I create collaborative spaces for students to read, write, and engage with one another. Reluctant learners are welcome in my classes as they are always set up to be safe spaces for students to feel free to engage without judgement.
That is the main goal of all of my classes is that students develop a love of reading and writing, and enjoy their journey towards becoming life-long learners!
