Students are encouraged to share their work with Rozine during class via the screen share option in Zoom. Any music created outside of class can be shared in the classroom via video communication. Praise and recognition is awarded, regardless of skill level. Rozine stresses the importance of liking one's own work—and if learner hears something they don't like, she motivates them to find the solution to fix the problem. Beginner レベル向け
Learners will have Rozine's undivided attention learning GarageBand skills. Using Zoom's share options, Rozine and learner will see each other's computer screens while inside GarageBand software. During our sessions, we will discuss: - How to get started in GarageBand - Different types of tracks (and what are they?) - All the fancy bells and whistles of GarageBand - Recording with software instruments - Using GarageBand Loops to make music - Drums, guitars, bass, woodwinds, brass, percussion, effects, etc - Reverb, atmosphere, and other controls - Communicating through song After the basics are established, Rozine will demonstrate how to select instruments, loops, and beats. She will show several ways to arrange these choices to create melody, harmony, and story. Learners will edit clips, add effects, export for publication (if interested). Sessions will also include business lessons and what it means to make a career in music. Eventually, students will learn how to create their own unique music composition.

Mac computer with GarageBand is going to be the best. If musicians will be recording instruments instead of making music with digital loops, they will need an interface. If vocals are being recorded, a professional microphone is nice, but not necessary. My personal preference is to make music using studio-grade headphones and/or speakers, but that also is not required.
教師の専門知識と資格
Rozine grew up in a musicians home. She is self-taught on piano and bass guitar, and trained to play the saxophone (but not all at the same time). Her mom was 2nd violin in the local chamber orchestra and Rozine spent countless hours listening to rehearsals and enjoying concerts. Her older brother, and mentor, is a sound engineer in Chicago who has worked with Richard Marx, Josh Grobin, and with the composer of the music for Final Fantasy video games. Rozine has been using GarageBand to create background music for her YouTube videos and online art classes since the early 2000s. Rozine has published and released 24 songs over 6 albums. She creates a relaxing atmosphere, encouraging confident self-expression. レビュー
