Come join in this private class to improve your musical ability on the flute!

Class Content:
  Come join in this ongoing class to improve your flute playing ability.  During class you will get instruction based on your ability level.  The first class you will do a playing test to see what your current level is.  This playing test will determine the schedule for you.  The test will include playing notes, note and rest names, and reading music.  This class is designed for beginners with no experience to learners who have had experience on their own to experience with school band.  Since this class is private, the class schedule will vary.  
 **This class is not designed for high school students or students who are advanced.  I am happy to provide a placement and if it doesn't work out you can always unsubscribe.

I am available most days outside of class time for any questions, but it may take me 1-2 days to get back to any questions.  
**Please make sure student's know their right from left hand as hand placement is important in this course.  
Why This Class:
  I have been playing flute since 6th grade, over 20 years.  I played in middle and high school and some college.  

Class Supplies:
  Students will need a book from essential elements series.  Depending on your learners level will depend which book you will need.   These books can typically be purchased off amazon.  The books are around $10.  Depending on your learners level you may be required to purchase extra supplies but we can discuss those items if they are needed.

  Water if desired-NO FOOD OR OTHER BEVERAGES due to the risk of damage to the flute

Class Schedule:
  1st class: Playing Test
  Class schedule will be adjusted based on learners level.  
  Every class will include playing practice, working on technique, and practice reading music.
**The last class of the month will be strictly theory practice.  There will be little to no actual flute playing.  
  There will be homework assigned weekly after the first week depending on learners level.
