This 30 minute homework help 1-on-1 session is meant for students who require help with their homework only. If you are looking for support while your learner completes work they have been assigned by another teacher, this is the right place! If you are looking for more comprehensive tutoring - tutoring that requires planning, assessment, and achievement monitoring - book my 1-on-1 tutoring instead! We will look at the work learner's have been assigned, work on any questions they are struggling to complete, and ensure they are on a path to completing their work. Some of my areas of expertise include: -Upper elementary math, especially Common Core driven math. This includes decimals, fractions, place value, basic geometry, coordinate planes, and early algebra -Literacy at all levels including introductory reading, remedial reading and decoding/phonics support, spelling, reading comprehension at all K-8 levels, and fluency practice -Writing support including letter formation, cursive, test respsonse writing, and longer form writing in all subject areas (narrative, informational, and opinion)
