Grab your imagination and join me as we follow Jack and Annie throughout their dinosaur adventure. Students will create a paper version of Jack’s backpack to house their completed activities. All other materials will be provided in the Outschool classroom. Supplies: book, scissors and crayons (plus any optional STEM Challenge Supplies listed below) Optional Materials per STEM challenge: •Make a Fossil: Crayola Model Magic, items to make indent like shells, leaves, rocks, watercolors •Dino Foot: Paper to Trace your own shoe multiple times and enough paper to make a T-Rex footprint (30" x 18") •New Dino Discovery: Air dry clay to invent your own dinosaur (Paper and crayon can work, too.) •Measure Challenge: String to measure out how long some dinosaurs are. Sidewalk chalk can also be used. Measure tape. •Bonus:Timeline Challenge: Research conducted online or use the optional book: Magic Tree House Fact Tracker, Dinosaurs (the non-fiction companion)
