Confident Speakers Alums
Group experience
US Grade 1 - 4
I am creating this group as a place for all of my former Confident Speakers Club students to continue to gather and share and grow together. We will have weekly themes, tongue twisters, and games. Some of the themes will be familiar to you, but I have some new themes in the works, too. I will plan to post on Friday by noon EDT. Here is a schedule of our first few themes: April 5: Books (I have a couple different games, so you should have something you've not done yet this week) April...
Students will work on speaking slowly and clearly each week with the help of tongue twisters, games, and word lists for practice.
I have been teaching live Confident Speaking classes on Outschool for almost 4 years now, so I have lots of games and expertise to share. I know how to foster communication between students and always give lots of feedback to help my students become confident speakers!
I am very happy to provide extra support for any student that needs it - whether that is extra practice, extra videos, whatever you need, just let me know. :)
This class was created for my Confident Speaking Club alums, but I welcome any learner that would like to become a more confident speaker! :)
This classroom will be moderated and I will do my best to keep discussions to appropriate and non-controversial topics. During our Play-Doh themed week, it is important to remember that play-doh may contain wheat, which could cause an allergic reaction if ingested in those sensitive to wheat gluten or with Celiac disease. You are more than welcome to bring Legos or something to draw with instead.
What can learners do in this chat group?

Super tricky tongue twister!
Confident Speakers Alums is a community of learners that come together on Outschool to share what they’re learning, ask questions, participate in challenges, and get feedback on their projects
I had to practice for 5 minutes just to get this one really slow!
I tried to do it 3 times in a row - made it through twice... lol
