Informational writing and non-fiction book reports can be boring and difficult to write - but not in this class! We get a LOT of work done in just 45 minutes of class a week, and have super fun doing it! Every week, your child will read an entire non-fiction book, review the book text via reading comprehension practice, and write a comprehensive book report.

⚠️ This class is a good fit for your child if they can read the weekly book independently (they DO NOT have to like writing!). The book report template can be used to differentiate different levels of writing skills. Students can complete as much or as little of the book report based on their level. My review and comprehension activities set students up for book report confidence and success!

⚠️ Each week, I will post a reminder about the book of the week. Please read the book BEFORE coming to class. If your child is unable to read the book before class for whatever reason, please have them skip the live class and then watch the class recording and follow along.

⚠️ A weekly book report template will be provided. Please print it off and have your child bring it to class. We will work on the book report together as we review the book.

⚠️ Please review the preview video for details about how the class is run.
