This class is suitable for beginners in their first 6 months of playing, although ideal if you've started using the bow! (But ok if you haven't yet!) It's ok if you need some help with reading music. This class is ideal for learners who have started violin or viola at school, or who have taken some private lessons. Week of January 6 - Intro to Group Class, Scales, Icebreaker Game Week of January 13 - Scales, choose repertoire as a class Week of January 20 - Work on selected repertoire Week of January 27 - Continue work on scales and repertoire The above is a sample of what might be covered in group class. This class is learner-directed, so content may vary. This class is listed for ages 9-12 but younger and older learners are also welcome. This class is geared toward learners who have some experience but are still what we would call "late beginner" level. This class is NOT for absolute beginners!

I could tell you about my qualifications, but that alone won't tell you who I am. I have a MMus. in Violin Performance, B.Mus. in Violin Performance, and BA in French. I have been teaching for over 30 years and thankfully still love it!
I currently offer violin, viola, piano, French, and Hebrew classes.
