This helps to reduce background noise and helps learners take turns. Please help your student learn to unmute, or I ask that you sit by them so they’re able to share when it’s their turn. As the teacher, I am only able to "ask to unmute" but the student will need to click the button to unmute themselves. ⭐️ I also ask that learners remain on video during class. Welcome!
My name is Ms. O, I have my Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Minnesota with a minor in Teaching English as a Second Language (ESL). I have taught First Grade for the past four years.
Before teaching First Grade, I taught Pre-K for two years. I have been teaching First Grade on Outschool since August of 2021. This past year, I taught STEAM enrichment classes (creative building, engineering, and robotics) for Pre-K to Middle school students and taught Special Needs students in my local school district.
My classes are structured and they follow grade-level academic standards. My classes encourage learners to put in their best effort daily. Students grow academically, develop critical thinking skills and a strong work ethic. I maintain high expectations for students, while promoting a positive attitude toward learning!
