In this class, students will practice reading like voice acting to develop their reading fluency. I model what good expression sounds like, such as appropriate pauses and thinking like that character you are reading. We visualize what a character looks like, age, gender and geographical location to explore possible voices that character may have. We will also focus on reading comprehension and script analysis. There will also be a few vocabulary words that I will pre-teach before each script. Here is the weekly breakdown.
