Reading Comprehension:
This can be tricky unless you know the test is based on fact. Most students don't know this. It has a huge bearing on your answers.

-Conventions of Standard English (Grammar/Punctuation):
Learn the rules, and get through these questions FAST! Amazing shortcuts if you are willing to learn grammar and punctuation a little differently.

-Math:
Math concepts range from basic to advanced. However, they are not as bad as they seem. Many depend on logic, and some have great shortcuts.

 INCLUDED IN THIS CLASS:

-Optional personalized notes and gamified homework assignments
-Extra SAT questions embedded into homework and notes, complete with answer explanations
-Additional concept worksheets for math support
-Prompt feedback and communication with parents
-Supplementary tips, videos, and class slides
-A relaxed and approachable atmosphere to encourage questions and comfort

APPROACH, STRUCTURE, AND THE GAMIFIED CLASSROOM:

-I provide a comfortable space where students will interact with me without fear of being wrong or hurried.
-I strive to increase student understanding by going the extra mile when the student doesn't understand something, communicating effectively, and asking questions.

THE GAMIFIED CLASSROOM WITH LEADERBOARD:
Leaderboards inspire goal-setting and progress tracking and encourage participation. Students may keep track of these things when they are completing optional homework.

Homework assignments are also gamified and engaging with puzzles or escape rooms.

-Specialized training in SAT preparation by an expert who has studied the SAT extensively
-Almost three years of SAT prep tutoring on Outschool, both in paper and digital formats
-Also a Writing instructor on Outschool

A FEW OTHER THINGS:
-Cameras must be on during class to ensure engagement.
-No video sharing allowed.
-Outschool policy state I stay in class 10 minutes if not one is showing. If you are going to be later than that, send me a message so I stay.
