In this ongoing course, we will take a tour of the U.S.A. and create beautiful maps through art. Each week, we will create a complete map of one region of the United States, including borders, cities, & topography. The content does not build, however it is a complete course.

Each week, we will take a tour of one region of the United States. You may print out the attached map, or you can use your own! Since this is a circular, ongoing class, you can jump in any time and still complete whole map in six weeks! First, we will observe and discuss landmarks, culture, and the topography of that region. Next, we will draw borders, cities, and general topography of the region. After all the regions are complete, the result is a beautiful, self-created map of the United States. After creating the map together, we will engage in a discussion in which each learner will have the option to share their artwork with the group and talk about it. This concluding activity promotes positive discussion, strengthening communication as well as critical thinking skills.

This class is also available as a 1:1 private tutoring class. Please message me for details.
