En este curso interactivo de 8 semanas dictado por un docente atento y experimentado, nos reuniremos dos veces por semana y leeremos tres novelas infantiles de calidad, mientras cubrimos los objetivos básicos de Lengua y Literatura en inglés (incluida la ortografía, la gramática y la redacción) para estudiantes de 4.º, 5.º y 6.º grado. ¡Ideal para la educación en el hogar!

Detailed written assessments will be provided to parents for your learners’ English Language Arts reporting needs/portfolios. I will communicate several written reports on learners’ progress especially as it relates to reading and writing. Letter grades, and/or percentage grades can be sent upon request.Calificación

This expertly designed course filled with super-engaging activities and experienced instruction is all that your child(age 9-12) needs for a whole semester of Language Arts learning. We will be covering reading/ writing/ grammar/ spelling, among other Language Arts skills, using three quality children's novels. (I also offer two other companion grade 4-6 Language Arts semester courses using different novels which cover more of the ELA curriculum. Take all three for a complete year of Language Arts, or pick and choose whichever of the three semester courses best suit your family. Courses may be taken in any order.) In this lesson we will get to know each other and begin reading the first chapter of “The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe”. I will also introduce Lit. Circle roles. Chapter 1-4 will be for homework.

I am known for being encouraging to all learners no matter what the skill level. I am highly experienced in differentiating instruction to suit each students' needs.
