Key points about the class include: • Join Anytime: Each class is standalone, making it easy to join at any point without needing background information from previous weeks. • Subscription-Based: Participants can join for a single week or stay for the entire series to cover all 50 states. • Interactive Learning & Creative Expression: Students will learn fun facts, engage in discussions, and partake in art activities focusing on drawing fun cats from a printout of the state outline. Many student incorporate things they learn into their drawing! Discover interesting aspects of each state, such as: ∙ state capitals ∙ state birds ∙ weather ∙ landmarks ∙ other interesting fun facts! By the end of the class, students will have gained a deeper understanding of the United States, improved their drawing skills, and created a collection of cat-themed artworks representing each state. Please print the PDF for the state we are drawing on and learning about in advance of each class meeting to be fully prepared to engage. Any art supplies can be used. Suggestions are: a pencil and markers/colored pencils/crayons.
