In this class, we will be reviewing a range of math concepts including fractions, decimals, geometry, and basic operations. (See below for a more comprehensive list of topics) Each week we will review and practice math concepts using fun and engaging activities such as games and different learning strategies. Topics covered include: Week of January 6: Place value Week of January 13: Multiplication Week of January 20: Division Week of January 27: Number lines and Comparing numbers Week of February 3 : Decimals Week of February 10: Fractions Week of February 17: Order of Operations Week of February 24: Adding and subtracting decimals Week of March 3: Adding and subtracting fractions Week of March 10: Multiplying and dividing decimals Week of March 17: Multiplying and dividing fractions Week of March 24: Metric system Week of March 31: Review of operations Week of April 7: Graphs Week of April 14: Coordinate plane/graphing Week of April 21: Geometry

Colorado Teaching Certificate in Special Education
Bachelor's Degree in Special Education from Lake Erie College
Ms. Emi has a Bachelor's Degree in special education and a minor in mathematics. She has experience teaching 7th/8th grade math as well as math intervention at the elementary, middle, and high school levels.
