In this engaging and ongoing math enrichment class, students tackle exciting math logic puzzles that sharpen critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. This class is ideal for learners who enjoy challenges and have a solid understanding of addition and subtraction within 30—especially those who can use mental math to solve problems quickly.

What to Expect in Class:

Interactive Math Talk: Every session begins with a thought-provoking, open-ended mental math problem. Learners will have the opportunity to share their ideas, explore strategies, and engage in collaborative problem-solving. This fosters communication, deepens understanding, and encourages learners to reflect on the reasoning behind mathematical concepts.

Critical Thinking & Problem Solving: Students will engage in various addition and subtraction math puzzles that require both perseverance and flexibility. These challenges promote critical thinking and allow students to apply their skills in creative ways.

Learning Through Collaboration: As learners interact with peers, they’ll discover how to build on others’ ideas, offer constructive feedback, and work through math puzzles as a team—skills that extend beyond the classroom.

This class is perfect for learners who love a good brain challenge and wish to strengthen their addition and subtraction fluency. This class combines fun, critical thinking, and hands-on problem solving.
