*JOIN ANYTIME THROUGHOUT THE YEAR!* This class offers a full year of standards-aligned curriculum taught by an experienced and certified kindergarten teacher! This is perfect for preschoolers, students in kindergarten, or first graders who need to gain a solid foundation of basic skills. This class is thoughtfully structured into 3 levels throughout the school year (for both literacy and math). I also incorporate science/social studies throughout the week, based on our weekly theme! 🚀LITERACY: Level 1: In Level 1, students will focus on mastering letters and their sounds, along with short sight words, word families, beginning sounds, and rhyming. We'll be building these foundational skills until December, ensuring a strong start to their reading journey. Level 2: In Level 2, students will expand their skills by learning short words where 'Y' makes the long 'I' sound, more word families, additional sight words, words ending in double consonants, digraphs, and both long and short vowel sounds. This exciting phase of learning will continue until March. Level 3: In Level 3, students will dive deeper, mastering more sight words, words with phonograms, inflection endings, nouns, action verbs, and plural nouns. We'll work on these important concepts until September, preparing students for even more success in their reading and writing adventures! 🚀MATH: Level 1: In Level 1, students will focus on key math skills like addition, subtraction, counting to 80, identifying numbers, using ten frames, understanding longer and shorter, position words, matching, shape recognition, and more. We'll be exploring these fun concepts until December. Level 2: In Level 2, students will continue their math adventure by diving into more advanced skills. We'll be mastering these until March, ensuring they’re confident and ready for the next step. Level 3: In Level 3, students will tackle even more exciting math challenges, building on everything they've learned. We’ll work on these skills until September, getting them fully prepared for future success! 💵 Use my coupon code for $10 off your first week! 💵 Code: COLLAZOCODE10 🌟 WEEKLY PACING GUIDE: 🌟 🍎Mondays: - Calendar Time - Phonics Worksheet - Phonics Lesson - Share worksheets 🍎Tuesdays: - Calendar Time - Math Lesson - Show-and-Tell - Science Lesson 🍎Wednesdays: - Calendar Time - Phonics Worksheet - Phonics Lesson - Share worksheets 🍎Thursdays: - Calendar Time - Math Lesson - Show-and-Tell - Story Time or Dance Party!! ⭐️ WEEKLY THEMES:⭐️ October: Sept 30-Oct 3: 5 Senses Oct 7-10: Amphibians 🐸 Oct 14-17: Grocery Store 🛒 Oct 21-24: Oct 28-31: Halloween 🎃 November: Nov 4-7: Reptiles 🐍 Nov 11-14: Construction 🚧 Nov 18-21: Farm 🐔 Nov 25-28: Thanksgiving 🦃 December: Dec 2-5: Jungle 🦍 Dec 9-12: Police 👮🏻♂️ Dec 16-19: Christmas 🎄 Dec 23-26: No school🚫 Dec 30-Jan 2: No School 🚫 January: Jan 6-9: Winter ❄️ Jan 13-16: Arctic Animals 🦭 *and much more!* ⭐️ Enroll anytime and stay with us for the whole year! Throughout the year, early readers will practice reading skills through reading, writing, and spelling, while learning rhyming, word building, letter sounds, digraphs, blends, and more. Math skills will include number sequence, geometry, shapes, colors, addition, subtraction, word problems, telling time, money, and more. Each day, students will have a brief sharing moment. Tuesdays feature engaging science lessons about animals, habitats, and exciting topics, ending with story time on Thursdays! Printouts Needed? Worksheets will be provided, but if printing isn’t possible, students can use their iPad or blank paper! Classroom Updates? Every Sunday at 9:00 PM EST, find the Weekly Newsletter, worksheets, and links to extra resources in the classroom! Classroom Rules? Students might be muted to avoid background noise. They should know how to unmute and raise their hand to ask questions. Off-topic sharing can be done at the end of class. 😊 Is This Class Right for My Child?
