Learning Objectives: -The student will be able to properly identify subject pronouns in Spanish -Learn the use of the verb SER to describe themselves and others -Learn definite and indefinite articles -Introduction to the verb Gustar in Spanish with an infinitive and noun

¡En la Escuela! At School!
Learning Objectives: -Students will be able to talk about their daily schedules -Talk about the time -Learn numbers 11-100 -Introduction to verb: Tener, IR and AR regular verbs

Mi Comida Favorita. My Favorite Food!
Learning Objectives: -Students will learn about present tense of er and ir verbs -Will learn how to use Gustar with nouns to express their food preference and dislike. -Talk about family, using possessive adjectives and comparatives to describe and compare them -Properly express dates

Lesson 5
¡Vamos de Compras! Lets go Shopping!
Learning Objectives: -Students will be able to talk about the type of clothes they wear for different occasions. -Students will be able to talk about where they go shopping for different clothing items and accessories. -Students will learn how to properly use stem changing verbs also known as boot verbs -Students will be introduced to direct object pronouns

Nuestra Casa Our Home
Learning Objectives: -Students will learn furniture vocabulary and home-related terms. -Students will describe homes using adjectives and prepositions to indicate location. -Students will master affirmative and negative commands for giving household chores instructions. -Students will engage in conversations about home life, discussing chores and household responsibilities. -Students will explore cultural norms related to household chores & living arrangements in Spanish-speaking countries.

¿Qué Deporte Practicas? What Sport do You Practice?
Learning Objectives: -Students will correctly use verbs like "jugar" (to play), "saber" (to know), and "conocer" (to be familiar with) in conversations about sports. -Students will engage in discussions about health, expressing concerns, and providing advice using the target verbs. Students will practice conjugating verbs "doler," "tener," and "sentir" in context, focusing on present tense and expressions of frequency. Students will explore cultural perspectives on health practices and wellness

La Salud Staying Healthy
Learning Objectives: -Students will use verbs like "doler," "tener," and "sentir" to discuss health issues. -Students will practice conjugating verbs "doler," "tener," and "sentir" in context. -Students will engage in discussions about staying healthy and describing symptoms. -Students will explore health practices in Spanish-speaking cultures.

El Pasado Back to The Past
Learning Objectives: -Students will learn new vocabulary to narrate past events. -Students will comprehend the use of preterit tense to describe completed past actions. -students will conjugate regular preterit tense verbs (-ar, -er, -ir) accurately. -Students will engage in conversations and writing tasks using preterit tense verbs.

Mis Vacaciones My Vacation
Learning Objectives: -Students will conjugate irregular preterit verbs (CAR, GAR, ZAR) and irregular verbs "ir," "ser," and "dar" accurately in the preterit tense. -Students will learn vacation-related vocabulary and places. -Students will comprehend the use of irregular preterit verbs and irregular verbs "ir," "ser," and "dar" in past tense narratives. -Students will engage in conversations and writing tasks using preterit tense verbs to describe past vacations and places visited.

Mi Rutina Diaria My Daily Routine
Learning Objectives: -Students will learn to conjugate reflexive verbs in the present tense accurately. -Students will comprehend the use of reflexive verbs to describe actions performed on oneself or others. -Students will expand their vocabulary by learning reflexive verbs related to daily routines and personal care. -Students will engage in conversations and writing tasks using reflexive verbs to describe daily activities and routines.
 Week 12

Explorando el Presente Progresivo Exploring the Present Progressive Tense
Learning Objectives: -Students will comprehend the use of the present progressive tense to describe ongoing actions happening in the present. -Students will acquire vocabulary related to activities and actions they are currently doing. -Students will engage in conversations and writing tasks using the present progressive tense to describe current actions.

I hold a masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction and have been teaching students from across the country online for the last 11 plus years. I have extensive experience building Spanish curriculum for levels 1, 2, 3 and AP. Am a native Spanish speaker.
