This self-paced course is designed to help students master the essential skills and concepts required for success in Algebra 1. The course covers foundational topics such as basic arithmetic, fractions, variables, and expressions. Through interactive lessons (pause and solve), quizzes, and practice problems, students can solidify their understanding and build the confidence needed to tackle Algebra 1. Whether preparing for a new school year or needing a refresher, this course provides a flexible and supportive learning environment tailored to the students’ pace. **See Syllabus for complete topics covered** Students will have access to the following materials: • Student notebook for each video lesson to keep learning organized. • Students are encouraged to take down notes in the provided notebook. • Additional examples with step-by-step solutions will be available for download. • Additional practice questions with answers are also available for download. • A step-by-step solution to the odd practice questions will also be provided. Students are encouraged to: • Participate in the course through the video lessons by pausing the videos and trying out the examples, then resuming the video to check their answers. • Try out the quiz to monitor understanding, step-by-step solutions included. • Complete the practice questions to continue learning. There are no live meetings, but students should prepare to spend 2-4 hours completing the course.
