US Grade 2 - 4
In this class we will continue to work on number sense and develop an understanding of addition and subtraction strategies, as well as shapes and measurements. I love teaching tricks to students as well as giving real-life examples to understand the importance of math in a day to day life. I do understand that math isn't for everyone, so when students are stuck, I don't mind explaining things in a different way. I will typically teach a lesson and then have students walk me through what I just taught. Followed by them completing similar problems on their own. I look forward to exploring math with your student. **Unless the class specifically states that it will take multiple weeks, students are able to pick and choose what they like. But please understand that this is math, so depending on the topic, students will need to have some prior knowledge or they can feel lost. I look forward to meeting your students, if you have any questions regarding the math or grade levels please feel free to reach out. ***This is a group class. If there is only one student I will still teach the class :) However, the class will only be 30 min long and after 3 weeks if there are no more students in the class I will ask the parent if they are able to switch to private tutoring or to another group class with higher enrollment. Thank you for your support and understanding. :) - Ms. Suzanne This is an ongoing class, lesson topics will be sent out each week before class.
