Welcome! I am thrilled you're here!

As Child and Youth Counsellor with over 2 decades of experience working with young people, I am deeply committed to supporting children and youth's mental health, well-being, and life skills.

My heart is full when I see young learners engage with topics related to social-emotional learning, executive functioning, and life skills. With my expertise in these areas, I use engaging, fun, and unique approaches to create a safe, nurturing learning environment that helps learners thrive.

As a practitioner and coach, I specialize in supporting children and youth with ADHD and executive functioning skills, as well as social-emotional learning using neurodiversity-affirming approaches. My personal experience with ADHD (myself, my children and others within my family) has fuelled my passion for advocacy and inclusivity for all abilities.

In my classes, I strive to create a high level of interaction, engagement, and lots of fun! Using songs, stories, videos, games, scenarios, discussion opportunities, and visual aids, I connect the concepts with your child's learning style, providing them with the best possible learning experience.

I have a 4-year Bachelor of Arts degree in Child and Youth Care from Toronto Metropolitan University (formally Ryerson) and a 3-year Child and Youth Worker diploma from Humber College. I am a Social-Emotional Learning Coach, Executive Functioning and Parenting Coach, and run a private counselling and coaching practice -In Bloom Support Services. I am TESOL certified and provide support to reluctant, and dyslexic readers as a Reading Coach, and most recently, I can now say I am a published author!

As a proud mom of three wonderful children and a dog mom to a rescue pup, I understand the joys and challenges of family life. With empathy and compassion, I look forward to working with your learner to support their growth and development.

Thank you for considering me as your child's teacher.

Let's learn, grow and bloom together!
