1. Animal Knowledge: Gain an understanding of different zoo animals, including their habitats, physical features, and behaviors. 2. Observational Skills: Develop keen observation skills by studying animals up close and capturing their likeness through drawing and painting. 3. Drawing Techniques: Learn fundamental drawing techniques such as proportion, perspective, and shading to create animal portraits or scenes. 4. Painting Skills: Explore various painting techniques and mediums, including watercolors, acrylics, and pastels, to bring animals to life on the canvas. 5. Creativity: Encourage creativity and imaginative expression by interpreting animals in unique/inventive ways, and exploring different artistic styles and approaches. 6. Suggested Supply List but I am open to alternate materials for you to create your masterpiece: Surface to create on: Choose one from the following options: Paper, Sketchbook or Canvas General Art tools: Pencil, Eraser, Sharpie Marker, Paint (Acrylic or Watercolors), Crayons, Markers Not necessary but cool to have if you are painting- hand held fan or blow dryer: useful for drying layers of paint quickly, allowing for efficient progress in a short amount of time. With any supplies, you'll be well-equipped to unleash your creativity and bring your artistic vision to life!
I prioritize ensuring that all content and materials presented are age-appropriate and suitable for young learners, meticulously reviewing and screening videos to avoid any content that may be deemed inappropriate.
