Class Experience

We'll be reading Zoey and Sassafras Dragons and Marshmallows.  This is the first book in a STEM series about an inquisitive girl and her cat. Zoey discovers that she has the ability to see and help magical creatures. Science and discovery are introduced in a fun and engaging manner.  Learners will read along with me in pre-recorded videos. During our live Zoom sessions, we'll use interactive Boom Cards to reinforce comprehension as well as printable activities. See below for more details.

(Students should have chapters 1-4 read and homework completed before our first class meeting so that we can be productive during our time together.)

Supply List
Buying the book is not required.  However, I do suggest that you consider buying your own copy to keep.  It's the first in a really good series.  Videos will be provided in class of me reading the book. Students can easily follow along online with me if they do not have their own copy of the book.

Worksheet activities/crafts will be provided. Students will print and complete them with scissors, pencil and colored pencils or crayons.
