Many students only focus on one career, failing to think outside the box or sometimes close to the box. In this class, we will discuss careers around specific fields. I will expand students minds in the other possibilities available. Interest and passion are key! With guidance students will receive help in figuring out careers and options for their future. Discussion topics for our first class will include: - Tie your passion -Looking beyond one focus -Finding similarities - Ways to find out more as young people - Keeping options open - Task challenge I help develop students ability to find resources for career exploration near their passions.
Learning Goals
My overall goal is to encourage, enlighten and enhance the importance of options in the world for students. Be it corporate, blue collar, education, or military we will discuss together.
