Class Experience
Beginner - Intermediate Level
Welcome to our Readventure Club, where your child and I will embark on an exciting literary journey designed to enhance their reading skills and ignite a passion for stories! I am very flexible with my style and material. If you need help learning how to read or if you are learning English as a new language, I can help. Our curriculum spans a wide range of captivating topics, including classic tales, contemporary adventures, and even some magical mysteries. Together, we'll focus not only on reading but also on comprehension, critical thinking, and creative expression. All books read should either be in the public domain or books that both the teacher and the learner have access to. I will provide a resource where students can read the book before class. Our one-on-one class is thoughtfully structured to keep young minds engaged and enthusiastic. Each session kicks off with an interactive warm-up that gets us both excited about the upcoming adventure. From there, we dive into the main story or theme for the day, exploring characters, settings, and plot twists through engaging discussions and activities. My teaching style is dynamic, catering to various learning styles. I incorporate a mix of storytelling, discussions, educational games, and hands-on activities to make the learning experience both enjoyable and effective. Whether through lively discussions, visually stimulating slides, carefully chosen video clips, or interactive games, I strive to keep our class dynamic and captivating. Your child will have ample opportunities to interact with me throughout the session. I encourage questions, discussions, and even creative contributions to enhance the overall learning experience. My goal is to create a supportive environment where your child feels valued, fostering a sense of confidence and enthusiasm for reading. Rest assured, I respect copyright laws and have permission to use any trademarked materials that may be included in our curriculum. I am committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and enriching learning space for your child to thrive in their reading journey.
