In just under 4 class sessions- students will learn the steps and skills to opening a business and selling online. Students can learn how to open, fill and sell products from their online shop. For the easy of setup the class will focus on selling "print on demand" products. This is a way for students to have an online shop, sell items they design, and not need to carry any products or inventory (win-win-win). Also the 3rd party printer can ship all items to customers for them - making your child's "job" to simply create/design, upload and market their online shop. PLEASE NOTE: Students WILL need parents help (and possibly credit card or billing information) in order to sell online and many online sales platforms will require a 18+ user and billing info on the account to get up and running. PLEASE be sure you understand this before registering. Multi-Day Class Format & Content: Day One (June 22nd): - decide what to sell (we will go over all options available from the 3rd party printer) - create a brand name and logo (we will Canva for this) - develop brand pillars (students will work to create a cohesive vision and brand) Day Two (June 29th): - Learn how to use Canva to create product designs that align to their brand - Learn how to open a Shopify or Etsy shop (please be sure you are in a world region where you have access to sell on one fo these websites) Day Three (July 6th): - Learn to upload items to their online shop - Learn to create compelling product descriptions to help your items sell - Learn to Create "Ads" in Canva Day Four (July 13th): - Learn how to market an online shop (for FREE) and make sales - Learn how to fulfill orders digitally - Learn how to retarget customers for future sales There are many online selling platforms but we will focus on selling platforms such as Shopify and Etsy.

Learners MUST have access to the following: - A computer, laptop or phone - Be willing to use the FREE version of Canva - Be willing to set up a Shopify store (there is a free trail of Shopify students can use) - Be willing to finish unfinished work from class to be prepared for the next day

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
