In this 1:1 session, I will guide the learner in creating their own story. This story may be fictional or true to life. In the first session, I will help them brainstorm various elements of their story. Story elements include characters, setting, and plot. If we have time, they may begin dictating their story, and I will type it. In the second session, we will review the elements of their story and continue writing it. To ensure effective tutoring, the teacher suggests meeting 2x per week. Book additional recurring meetings after the initial purchase.- Learners will become more fluent and confident in conversation skills such as active listening and sharing ideas. Learners will be introduced to story elements including characters, setting, and plot. Learners will discover how stories are formed from one’s imagination to written form. Learners will discover that their ideas can become “real” stories on paper, even if they aren't able to write or type yet.
