Persuasive writing can be a fun and exciting genre for young learners to find a passion and purpose for writing. It is one of my favorites to study, and the pleasure I get from teaching this genre makes for an enjoyable class. To ensure effective tutoring, the teacher suggests meeting 3x per week. Book additional recurring meetings after the initial purchase.I obtained a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2002 and an Educational Technology master’s degree from the University of Northern Colorado in 2010. I spent over 20 years in the upper elementary classroom and specialized in teaching language arts for ten years. I also have ten years of private tutoring experience and have tutored online since 2020.
