This ongoing club is a space for kids to meet people, empower them to communicate with one another, build confidence in speaking, and be heard. We will acknowledge the good and brainstorm ways to work through common issues.

1 hour per week. Depending on the topic, students may be asked to set goals or journal. Any homework that is assigned is independent. The homework should take no more than 20 minutes.Class Experience

Beginner - Advanced Level
This group meets weekly and welcomes all kids who desire to meet others and build confidence in communicating within a group. The group is an open forum, which means that the participants are encouraged to bring something they want to discuss with the group that is related to building confidence, communication, or sharing the good news that happened in their life that week. This group is about focusing on the positive and encouraging one another. We may discuss working through challenges with a more open and positive mindset as discussions arise. Since each meeting relies on the participants attending and their goals for the week, this group does not build on material or lessons from previous weeks. The group will meet as long as there are 2 or more participants; otherwise, it will be canceled for the week. This group meets during the school year.
Learning Goals
The goals of this group are to share topics that are of importance and interest to participants while maintaining a positive atmosphere. Members will learn communication skills and the confidence to engage with others.
