In this on-going class, we will learn several yoga poses. Then we will play a game to master these poses! In this class, children will be actively participating the entire lesson. Yoga teaches children confidence, patience, calming techniques, and enhances healthy habits. Yoga is a great skill for children to learn as it is a tool they can use into adulthood to live happier and healthier lives. Grab your yoga mat and let's play! Here is a breakdown of what to expect in class: - Greeting - Learn and practice several yoga poses - Play game using the poses we've learned - Closing/Goodbye Schedule: Week 1: Strike A Pose Week 2: Yoga Bingo Week 3: Strike A Pose Week 4: Yoga Bingo I can't wait to see your child in my class! Parental Guidance
Whenever students are involved in a physical fitness routine, there are potential hazards as well as injuries that can occur if not properly supervised. Learners will need an open workout space, proper footwear, a water bottle if needed, and adequate stretching beforehand. Thank you.
