Class Experience

Important Note: CEFR: B1-B2 and above. Neurodivergent learners welcome.

This class offers your Learner a deep guided relaxation for body and mind.

In all of my Yoga classes, proprioception and interoception will be further explored and cultivated.

Class is structured with a moment to welcome the student(s), offer a short introduction; then we start the gradual process of aligning the body on the mat or chair; we follow a sequence of steps for a complete guided deep relaxation; with a closing including a mini meditation.

Class is taught in a quiet, inclusive manner, promoting self awareness and loving kindness. For these reasons and for gauging Learner's interest level and to be able to adjust accordingly, I require open mics and video in my classes so there is a sense of community and engagement with the material.

Class size is kept one-on-one, so learner may feel at ease in a private space.

Parent may want to add additional free time at the end of class in case of extended Q&A.

No previous experience is required.

Learning Goals

Students will learn how to relax body and mind by developing self-awareness that will in turn help with self-understanding and self-regulation. They will learn a technique to guide body & mind to deeper levels of relaxation where tensions (physical, mental & emotional) may be identified, then released. This class is great to manage daily stress or as a little break in the busy day. It is also excellent to start working on the New Year's resolution.
