Konnichiwa! Welcome to Guided Japanese Learning. In this class we will explore one Hiragana sound per week, build basic theme based vocabulary, and play games, sing songs, enjoy puppets and storytime in this heartwarming, gentle class. This class is intended for learners with some experience to continue to expose pre-k and kindergarten students to the sounds in Japanese through play and hands on activities. This class is in Japanese and English. Join Anytime. Each week will have a routine to support confidence and comprehension. Learners are welcome to join at anytime and will benefit from joining others who know the routine. Learning Goals
This Montessori-based weekly themed circle time is taught in both Japanese and English, providing a gentle approach. Weekly greeting song, counting, basic grammar, 3-5 new vocabulary words each week, games, stories, Hiragana sound of the week printable.

Parental Guidance
During some weekly sessions I will be sharing a gentle young learners song video via my professional Japanese language teaching resource called FluentU via my share screen. No account required.
Pre-Requisites
For children with exposure at home or from other classes this class is meant to provide ongoing practice in a fun and intentional way. Absolute beginners receive materials all learners practice weekly.
