Yarn Art for Elementary Learners
In this ongoing class learners will have the opportunity to create different yarn art pieces each week. This is a great class for elementary aged learners with an interest in tactile art!

Each week will be a new project and adventure! We will use yarn to create specific new art project each week. My teaching style focuses on practice, patience and fun! This course will be more relaxed with time to discuss and have fun while working on our projects. Potential projects include: Weaving Pom Pom making Finger crochet Yarn animals Bracelet making

Students will need to use scissors, yarn, tape and glue in this class.

Yarn and other common craft supplies such as: scissors, tape, popsicle sticks, beads, glue.

Hi there! I am Madolyn & I am so excited to meet you.
I teach classes on fashion, sewing, and incorporating textiles into art. Fashion is such a cool area because it is literally wearable art. This is how I approach teaching fashion--it is an art class!
I work professionally as a fashion designer, and have always wanted to work with students teaching fashion and sewing. In fact, those classes I took in school were the ones that led me to working in the fashion industry.
While pursuing my bachelor's degree in Apparel Entrepreneurship, I worked as a substitue teacher and it was my favorite job that I had as a student. I also have a certificate in Apparel Design & Construction.
One thing to know about me is that I love nature & am very inspired by it, so you will likely hear about it in our classes! I love to hike & spend time outside.Reviews
