Wushu Workout: Beginners Kung Fu Class
In this class, I will introduce students to the basics of wushu/kung fu. The emphasis will be on basic stances, blocks, punches, and kicks. Each class will focus on a positive character trait to apply in their lives.

Beginner Level
In this interactive class, learners will dive into the foundations of Chinese martial arts by exploring the essential stances, punches, and kicks of kung fu. I take a student-centered approach, tailoring instruction to fit each learner’s needs. Students will engage with me throughout the session as I guide, encourage, and offer corrections to improve their form. No prior experience is required—just bring your energy and enthusiasm for learning something new!

I am a lifelong martial artist and a career educator. I am passionate about sharing my love of the martial arts with the next generation. I taught and coached young people over the last 25 years and believe that every child can succeed - I am confident that I can provide the motivation to help them achieve their goals!
I teach Chinese Martial Arts/Kung Fu (Tai Chi, Xing Yi, Bagua, and Wing Chun) and have competed in Taekwondo and sport Karate. I enjoy teaching martial arts because it allows people to develop their physical and mental health while building a community through shared interest.
Fun fact: my favorite anime is Avatar: The Last Airbender.
